Susie joined Dr. Zimm’s practice in early 2022, bringing more than 30 years of management experience and a strong background in the medical and aesthetics industries. Her passion for beauty and aesthetics began over two decades ago while working at one of New York City’s premier day spas. Since then, she has built an extensive career managing a variety of prestigious medical practices, combining her operational expertise with a commitment to exceptional patient care.

As Practice Manager, Susie oversees the daily operations of the practice, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while maintaining the high standards of care and personalized attention that patients have come to expect. From coordinating the team to addressing patient concerns, she takes pride in creating an organized, welcoming environment where every patient feels valued, supported, and confident throughout their experience.

Born in the United States and raised in the United Kingdom, Susie proudly considers herself a “Philly Girl,” having spent her formative years in Philadelphia after her family returned to the U.S. Now residing in Westchester, she makes the daily commute into Manhattan and is the proud mother of two young adults.

With her extensive experience, approachable nature, and dedication to both patients and staff, Susie plays an essential role in making every patient’s experience at Dr. Zimm’s practice as seamless and positive as possible.

With a background in healthcare dating back to 2016, Mariela brings years of valuable clinical experience to Dr. Zimm’s practice. A born-and-raised New Yorker, she has extensive experience working with patients in the perioperative setting and plays an important role in guiding them through their surgical journey.

As an integral member of our clinical team, Mariela works closely with Dr. Zimm during patient appointments and procedures, helping coordinate care and ensuring that patients are informed and supported every step of the way.

With a commitment to expanding her clinical expertise, Mariela has also pursued specialized training in surgical technology, allowing her to take on an expanded role alongside Dr. Zimm in the operating room. Her professional development reflects the practice’s dedication to continued education, teamwork, and providing patients with the highest standard of care.

Mariela’s experience, clinical knowledge, and familiarity with every stage of the surgical process make her a valuable member of our team.

Shelby is a New York transplant hailing from sunny California. When you come through our doors, Shelby’s smiling face will be the first one you’ll see. She has been in the aesthetic world since 2016 and enjoys every bit of the happy side of medicine. Shelby is here to answer your questions, make you feel comfortable, and help guide you on your aesthetic journey. When Shelby is not in office, she can be found at the dog park with her two Frenchie’s or catching a concert with her husband.

A native New Yorker with 17 years of experience in the cosmetic and aesthetics industry, Jamie brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for patient care to Dr. Zimm’s practice.

With her warm personality and attention to detail, Jamie takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for throughout their experience. Whether assisting Dr. Zimm with medical and cosmetic procedures or simply offering a reassuring smile, she is dedicated to making every patient feel welcome and valued.

Outside of her professional expertise, Jamie has a lifelong love for all things beauty and aesthetics. Her positive energy, compassionate nature, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care make her a valued member of our team.

Taniya is a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate member of our team who brings warmth and positive energy to everything she does. She enjoys connecting with patients and helping create a welcoming, comfortable experience for everyone who visits our office.

With a genuine passion for healthcare and helping others, Taniya aspires to become a Physician Assistant (PA), where she hopes to continue making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. She values teamwork, personal growth, and building lasting connections with those around her.

Outside of the office, Taniya enjoys football, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with her beloved cat, Apollo, who holds a very special place in her heart.
