Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Injectable Nose Job) in NYC
THE PROCEDURE
WHAT IS INJECTABLE RHINOPLASTY?
A non-surgical or injectable rhinoplasty is a viable option for people who would like to enhance the appearance of their nose and face without surgery. It primarily functions to camouflage small imperfections in the nasal tip as well as a small bump on the nasal bridge. Dr. Zimm uses dermal fillers such as Juvederm® or Restylane® to achieve smooth and natural results. It is performed as an office procedure using topical numbing cream and typical takes 15-30 minutes with minimal discomfort. You will see the results in real time as its being performed!
Dr. Zimm believes it’s important to involve his patients actively during the process. As a result, he will have his patients look in the mirror to see the immediate results during the procedure and provide feedback in real time.
Recovery
Also, there is no “down time.” Most patients go back to work the same day. Since Dr. Zimm only uses temporary fillers in the nose, your results will last anywhere from 6 months to 18 months on average.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated. This includes the double chin, jowls and other areas with deep lines and loose skin.
Ideal Canidate
- someone who is seeking a minor, temporary alteration
- cannot or does not wish to undergo surgery
- wants to look better for an upcoming event such as a wedding
- someone who is considering a surgical rhinoplasty and wants to see what a specific change may look like
Limitations
Non-surgical (injectable) Rhinoplasty will not make the nose smaller, narrow a broad nasal bridge, nor refine a wide/bulbous nasal tip. Also, it will not improve your nasal breathing. It cannot replace the results of a surgical rhinoplasty which remains the gold standard for improving both nasal aesthetics and breathing.
Who Should Perform It
Injectable rhinoplasty should be performed by a rhinoplasty expert (who performs this surgery regularly) familiar with the detailed anatomy and function of the nose. Since every case is unique, Dr. Zimm meets with each patient to review the options and determine what solution is ideal for them at that particular time in their life.

Frequently asked questions
A non-surgical nose job in New York City involves injecting dermal fillers into the soft tissues of the nose, temporarily altering its shape. One advantage of these fillers is that the results are immediate but will only last a finite amount of time.
Dermal fillers used on the nose provide results that typically last up to 12 months. This can be extended with touch-up procedures around 6 months post-injection. While the results are not permanent, the lower cost and minimal to no recovery have made non-surgical rhinoplasty a great option for many.
A non-surgical or liquid rhinoplasty in New York City involves the injection of dermal fillers. The injection can produce some discomfort or mild pain, but the majority of patients will agree the pain is bearable or even more tolerable than they expected. However, certain areas such as the nasal tip and lip area are more sensitive than others.
Many surgeons will use numbing creams and dermal fillers containing lidocaine or other local anesthetics to reduce injection-associated pain. Overall, the procedure takes 10–15 minutes and the majority of patients return to work or school immediately after the procedure.
The use of dermal fillers for nose jobs can be a risky procedure, especially when performed by an inexperienced injector. While the most common side effects include temporary bruising and swelling, there are rare but serious side effects that can occur during non-surgical nose augmentation.
- Occlusion of vein or artery. The inadvertent injection of filler into a vein or artery can result in the blockage of the vessel causing skin and tissue death, scarring, and even blindness.
- Infection. The risk of infection is low when proper procedures are followed during the injection but can not be completely eliminated.
- Allergic reaction. Some patients may find they are allergic to a component of the injection causing redness, swelling, itching, and pain.
Overall, dermal filler injections, especially in the nasal area, should not be taken lightly and should be performed by experienced surgeons with knowledge of the complex anatomy of the face.
Dermal fillers such as Restylane® or JUVÉDERM® are frequently used to perform non-invasive rhinoplasty in New York City. Of these two fillers, Restylane® can be the preferred agent in certain circumstances.
Restylane® provides increased durability and more naturally looking results. It is composed of a sugar molecule that is safe and compatible with the body. For these reasons, it is regarded as one of the best fillers for use in non-surgical nose reshaping procedures.
The cost of liquid rhinoplasty in New York City can range from $3,000 to $4,500 depending on various factors. The price will vary depending on the type of filler used, how much filler is needed, and the experience/expertise of the surgeon performing the injection. The total cost will be discussed before any injection allowing patients to determine if the injection is the right choice for them.
